by michael marmot so i'm here in austin, and i couldn't be having a better time. i won't go into the troubling details of how hard it was to get here, but i will say this: don't use priceline for airline tickets. ever.
i've spent just about every moment since i got off the plane with julie, but i know that even though i'm spending two extra days in austin with her, it won't be enough to keep me from missing her terribly once i leave again. she's amazing, and i love her with everything i've got.
we haven't done much in the way of actual activity, but man oh man have we ever had some tasty food. i love this city, and i think more and more that i'd really like to end up here permanently someday.
